Clean:

Everyday dust or dirt can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth. Allow to dry naturally - out of direct sunlight and without added heat.

Condition and Protect:

Leather is a natural material and needs some care to ensure it's longevity. Twice a year, or when your piece starts to feel dehydrated, treat it with something such as mink oil, neatsfoot oil, or a similar leather conditioner. These can generally be found at any store that sells quality leather shoes or bags.

Store:

Leather needs to breathe! Do not store in plastic. If you are not going to use the piece for a prolonged period of time, store it in a dust bag - a pillow case also works great. And remember - unlike fabric, creases in leather are very hard if not impossible to remove so store your piece in such a way that does not cause unnecessary folds.
